What are your candles made of?
LiveYoung scented candles are made with all-natural soy wax, braided cotton wicks, and fragrance oils. Just wax, wick, and scent with no other additives or dyes.
Where do you get your ingredients?
We source all of our ingredients from companies here is the US.
Where are your candles made?
All of our candles are hand-poured and hand-packaged in Frederick, MD.
Why should I trim the wick and only burn your candles for 4-5 hours at a time?
These are common instructions and good practices for any candle and are meant to prolong a candle's burn time. A longer wick creates a larger flame, a larger flame melts the wax faster, and the wax melts faster than the wick burns away. So the longer your candle burns, the larger the flame gets, causing your candle to melt faster and faster. Keeping the wick trimmed and burning 4-5 hours at a time slows everything down so you get a longer burn time.
Additionally, burning your candle for 4-5 hours at a time ensures that the wax melts all the way to the edge of the container. The melted wax(not the flame) is what gives off your candle's scent, so this will maximize your candle's scent when lit. It will also prevent your candle from "tunneling", or burning a hole down the center of the candle while leaving a ring of un-melted wax along the inside of the container.
How quickly will I receive my order?
Our commitment is to have your order delivered to the organization 2 weeks from ordering window closing.
How will I receive my order?
If choosing:
Pick-up: your order will be ready for pick up at the organization you are supporting, or the fundraisee you are supporting will deliver your order to you. Please contact them for any information regarding picking up your order. *you will not be picking your order up at our location.
Delivery: you will pay for shipping and LYC Fundraising will ship your order to you.
**Orders will be ready for delivery or pick-up two weeks after the fundraiser ends. You can expect an email with tracking information once your order ships if choosing delivery, or expect further contact from the organization you are supporting if choosing pick-up.
How do I place my order?
Scan the QR code on the LYC Fundraising Flyer or go to www.lycfundraising.com. Make sure to enter your group code at checkout, or your group will not get credit.
What payment type do you accept?
Because our ordering is completed online we take major credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Pay Pal, venmo. Cash payments are no available at this time.
What profit will my organization make?
For each sold:
Mason Jar Candle- $3.50
Wax Melts- $1.50
Does my organization have to sell a minimum quantity?
No! there is no minimum order quantity, sell as little or as much as you need to reach your fundraising goals.
What if I need to exchange or return product?
There will be no returns or exchanges. The fundraiser coordinator for each organization with inspect the delivery and sign off that there are no damages.
Can I place an order on this website if I am not part of a fundraising group?
This site is specific to fundraising groups and should not be used for individual purposes. If you would like to order and are not part of a fundraising group please visit liveyoungcandles.com.
